Cardinals Fans on Hold for Marvin Harrison Jr.’s Jerseys

Arizona Cardinals fans will not be able to purchase Marvin Harrison Jr.’s jersey until he signs a preliminary NFL Players Association (NFLPA) licensing agreement, it has been reported by ESPN. This affects fan merchandise sales as the immediate impact of this was that fans were unable to buy his jerseys on Thursday night after the Cardinals drafted him with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Fanatics and other retailers will not be able to offer Harrison’s merchandise until he signs a licensing contract with the NFLPA, according to a statement released by X.
Harrison caught an impressive 67 passes for 1,211 yards and scored fourteen touchdowns during his final season at Ohio State University in November 2023. The talented wide receiver has joined Kyler Murray’s Cardinals as one of the top targets, having praised the team’s star quarterback stating “Kyler’s awesome,” he continued, “You look at his record from high school and he’s always won – that’s the kind of guy I want to play with. He’s just so dynamic of a quarterback; I really admire him.” The Associated Press also contributed reporting in this story.
