From Daring Voice to Woke Coward: Howard Stern’s Transformation from Political Interviewer to Biden Ally

The idea that a weak and inexperienced president from recent history would confidently sit down for an interview with provocative radio host, Howard Stern, during their re-election campaign is almost unbelievable to those who remember his past reputation. In the past, Stern was known as one of the most daring voices in media; he posed no limits on the personal or scandalous nature of questions asked from political leaders in his interviews. Given current trends in society’s ideals, such behavior now seems unlikely for a president with rapidly declining poll numbers and questionable family affairs involved in international politics to participate in an interview with Stern today. However, that Howard Stern is no more; he has transformed into a shell of himself. He is cowardly, repetitive, and subservient to groupthink – a stark contrast from his former boldness. As stated by him last September: “I ran out Friday morning. I was over at CVS. Thank you, CVS… F*cking science. This f*cking country is so great … I support people who want to be transgender. I’m for the vaccine, dude call me woke as you f*cking want… I am a woke motherfu*ker, and I love it.” Stern’s transformation can be attributed to age, guilt or possibly threats from influential figures that he would either fall in line or face exposure; no one is sure. Last year confirmed the latter part of this hypothesis as he acknowledged reports suggesting his prolonged stay indoors (except for essential medical appointments) until two and a half years after Covid’s outbreak initiation. Stern also recently called on U.S authorities to reinstate lockdown restrictions due to perceived new waves. The Biden administration, known for its overprotective communication department that would not allow the president to participate in CBS’ traditional pre-Super Bowl interview last February, found Howard Stern useful enough and deemed him a less risky interviewee than Norah O’Donnell. During their recent conversation, Stern did not question Biden about antisemitism that is growing alarmingly more acceptable as left wing politics gains in popularity around the country or Ukraine’s funding; he was only an advocate for using tax dollars to fund Ukraine instead. In addition, while Howard raised some amusing points with Biden during their discussion concerning his days as a lifeguard, Stern avoided topics such as border security and Hunter’s cocaine and stripper habits despite being previously vocal about these issues in the past.
