Rewritten article: The Philadelphia 76ers’ guard Kelly Oubre Jr seems to have a rocky relationship with cars as he was involved in an accident just hours after his team lost Game 2 against the New York Knicks. The incident occurred at around 1:45 am on Tuesday, and according to reports, Oubre disregarded a red traffic signal – essentially running a red light. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the collision between Oubre’s Lamborghini and another vehicle, but both cars had to be towed away from the scene of the accident. This is not the first time that Oubre has encountered issues with vehicles as five months ago he sustained injuries after being hit by a car while walking in Philadelphia. It seems that either through his own ignorance or that of others around him, Kelly cannot seem to stay out of trouble involving cars. Thankfully, despite this mishap, Oubre was fit enough to play Game 3 against the Knicks and even started for the Sixers. To further prove he wasn’t hurt in the accident, Oubre threw down an emphatic dunk on New York guard Donte DiVincenzo at the start of the game. The Philadelphia team went on to win Game 3 with a scoreline of 125-114 and now have renewed hope for their playoff campaign thanks in part to Oubre’s contribution, which saw him scoring fifteen points during the matchup against New York City rivals the Knicks.
