King Charles III proposes zero-carbon energy for Sandringham Estate with solar panel plan amid security concerns

In an ambitious sustainability drive, King Charles III has proposed installing around 2,000 solar panels at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, which could see his country property powered by zero-carbon energy. The proposal submitted on behalf of the estate earlier this month suggests that the development will generate enough renewable power to meet its electricity demands as well any excess for returning to the grid. If approved, the new solar farm would be built on a plot used currently as horse paddocks and surrounded by mature trees outside formal gardens. The project is part of Sandringham Estate’s commitment towards green practices that aim at reducing environmental impact while maintaining its operations for future generations. However, some concerns have been raised about potential security issues related to the high value of scrap metal in these locations amid rising thefts from solar farms elsewhere around Britain in recent years as revealed by police officer Steve Gower who warned against any adverse impacts on ecology during consultation process which will continue till May 26 before it’ll be further reviewed.
