Elliot Sadoff, a senior at Columbia University, appeared on ‘Fox & Friends’ to discuss the surge in antisemitism on campus and how he is combating anti-Israel sentiment. Meanwhile, hundreds of students across various universities have been arrested during hateful protests against Israel. However, Liberty University held an entirely different gathering – a massive outdoor prayer service with no arrests or antisemetic language violations. While the university did not organize it as protest activity like Columbia’s ‘die-ins’, liberty Students chanted worship hymns such as “Great are you Lord” and sang praises to God, unlike those at other universities who shouted anti-Israel slogans. The contrast between Liberty University’s peaceful gathering and the violent protests that have erupted in anger, hatred, and violence elsewhere is striking – even amidst similar university situations with some having declared campuses off limits following encampments of protestors refusing to follow school policies on displaying antisemitic language or trespassing. USC’s campus was closed “until further notice” after 93 people were arrested for violating the policy against such activities, and a violent confrontation broke out in Alumni Park as protesters erected tents that resulted in an arrest. Fox News Elizabeth Pritchett also contributed to this article reporting Liberty’s University students contrastingly had faith gatherings featuring music including praising Jesus even where He alone seems presently absent from the world stage of conflict and war between Israelis, Palestinians, & all manner people today in far flung locales on nearly every continent that cries for peace.
