O.J. Simpson’s Final Battles: Fox News and Former ABC Reporter Discuss Death at Age 76 after Cancer Diagnosis

Fox News’ Kevin Corke and former ABC News correspondent Bettina Gregory discussed the life and legal battles of O.J. Simpson, who recently passed away at age 76 following a battle with cancer that he revealed last year. The ex-football player and actor gained notoriety in 1995 when he was acquitted for his wife’s murder but faced subsequent criminal charges. After being released from prison in 2017, Simpson had been residing in Las Vegas where a private gathering of friends and relatives took place following his cremation. There were no public memorial plans announced. In an interview with Corke before his passing, attorney Malcolm LaVergne shared that the former athlete was “awake, alert and chilling” while drinking beer at home just prior to Easter. Simpson’s family later confirmed on April 11th via a statement released by X that he had passed away surrounded by loved ones.
