Biden Administration’s Expansion of Title IX Protections Sparks Controversy Over Transgender Athletes

OutKick contributor Riley Gaines recently appeared on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ to share her thoughts on the Biden administration’s latest move regarding Title IX, a civil rights law designed in part to ensure equality between men’s and women’s sports. The administration is expanding protections under this legislation by prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics for federally funded education programs that take effect from August 1st, just before the start of the new school year. However, a separate rule covering transgender eligibility in scholastic sports will be released after November’s presidential election to avoid exacerbating President Biden’s declining poll numbers on various issues such as border control, inflation, gas and grocery prices, mortgage rates etc..
It is evident that these new additions may allow for sharing of locker rooms and showers currently reserved exclusively for those born male or female by transgender individuals. The administration seems intent upon continuing to dismantle the foundations on which America was built. As reported in ‘The Washington Times’, it appears unlikely that this will take into account the feelings, opinions, and safety concerns of girls and women who may be affected negatively as a result.
Many people believe that everyone has their own unique “truth”, but such an assertion seems fallible to individuals whose reasoning skills have not been blurred by contemporary culture’s powerful bright lights. It is clear from the evidence available today, that athletes born male are consistently outperforming women counterparts in competitive situations where biological males participate – this unfairly robs deserving females of scholarships and endorsements as well as recognition for their hard work on sports fields.
Female students at certain institutions have begun boycotting sporting events when biologically born males are included to level the playing field. In an ideal scenario, parents should consider removing girls from public schools altogether in order to establish separate private leagues that cater specifically towards women’s athletics programs – this would ensure a fairer and more equitable experience for all participants involved without compromising on any individual’s beliefs or values whatsoever.
If there is no standard by which even a woman can be defined, then anything will eventually become acceptable in society – including mandated practices that go against the fundamental principles of our culture and societal norms altogether – it’s all just conditioning afterall. What kind of worldview does this administration intend to impose on Americans? Is there any standard left for them to oppose, or is everything now considered relative in nature?
