Garcia Endorses Trump at Mar-a-Lago while Showcasing Boxing Skills

Ryan Garcia, the up-and-coming and often disputed boxer, paid a visit to Mar-a-Lago last week to showcase his skills in front of former President Donald Trump while also endorsing him for November’s election. The 25-year-old shared multiple videos on social media depicting the two meeting before Garcia began shadowboxing down the hallway, with Trump and other companions looking on and applauding.

The footage is both humorous and awkward at times as it captures moments of clumsiness from the young fighter’s performance in such a luxurious setting. However, during his boxing routine, Garcia suddenly shouts out “Donald Trump 2024!” to the delight (or dismay) of those who share an oppositional view towards both men.

Garcia and Trump have something significant in common – they are both underdogs that were not given much chance before achieving big victories. While Garcia recently defeated Devin Haney, a previously undefeated fighter, Donald Trump rose from being considered a joke of a candidate to actually winning the 2020 Presidency. It’s no secret that both men aren’t shy about expressing their thoughts on social media either; they frequently lash out at critics online.

Trump has long been associated with boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA) events, attending high-profile bouts such as Mike Tyson vs Larry Holmes during the ’80s and ’90s before becoming a regular fixture in UFC arenas alongside Dana White today. Some fighters like Colby Covington have even made Trump part of their storyline, with mentions of him frequently cropping up at press conferences and interviews alike.

For someone as outspoken as Garcia – including his recent engagement to a porn star followed by sightings with two different women just days later- it’s safe to say that he will use the divisiveness surrounding Trump to his advantage, playing into people’s differing opinions about him for personal gain.
