Biden’s Comedy vs. Wisconsin Bomb Threat: Joseph Quade Charged as Baldwin Leads Hovde by Four Points

President Biden’s comedic skills were showcased at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, while in Wisconsin, Joseph Quade, a Republican Senate candidate opponent donor, has been charged with making bomb threats against that campaign office. Quade allegedly sent an email on April 4 stating, “Hey (EH), you think your building might blow up tomorrow? I don’t think you should have any of your people come to work,” and admitted it was possible he made the threat after admitting drinking habits caused by getting too political sometimes. A representative stated Quade’s campaign contributions will go towards charity, as Wisconsin is a crucial battleground state in 2024 with Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin leading Republican candidate Eric Hovde by almost four percentage points according to recent polling averages. If convicted of making terrorist threats, Quade faces up to three and a half years in prison at his next court appearance on May 2.
