Fox News correspondent Nate Foy reported on a payment dispute concerning an alleged affair between former President Trump and Karen McDougal during his appearance on ‘Special Report’. Meanwhile, Bill Maher drastically changed his stance towards the New York trial against Trump after initially calling it a “colossal mistake”. Speaking as a panellist on Real Time’ Friday night, he remarked: “[I was] always against this because I thought of all [the accusations], this is the least serious… Now I think Trump could lose.” Maher praised former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker for his testimony in court and predicted that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg would become a “rising star” within Democratic politics if he secured a conviction against Trump. Last year, as Bragg prepared to bring charges against the ex-president, Maher had warned it could be a significant error which might actually help Trump’s 2024 campaign.
