Eric Trump, Vice President of The Trump Organization, spoke out against the “legal lawfare” targeting his father in interviews on Sunday’s “Sunday Morning Futures”. In response to legal action against former president Donald Trump, including the ongoing NY v. Trump trial in Manhattan, Eric accused progressive district attorneys such as Alvin Bragg and Fani Willis of using Soros-funded lawfare aimed at delegitimising his father’s candidacy for 2024. During his appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo, Trump also criticised the state of America under President Biden’s administration and city level leaders such as Bragg. He described New York City as being in a sorry state due to increasing levels of crime, homelessness, violent assaults against women, assassinations of police officers within squad cars, and children getting shot on Times Square streets. Trump argued that the public is not buying into these legal charades because everyday items such as skin lotion have become locked behind plexiglass due to excessive theft. On this week’s ‘Cuomo Primetime,’ Chris Cuomo discusses former President Donald Trump’s indictment in New York and what it could mean for the future of American politics.
In addition, Eric Trump also took aim at Biden’s performance as president, accusing him of appearing increasingly incompetent due to his numerous gaffes. However, despite both men being on the campaign trail ahead of next year’s election, polling suggests that Donald Trump is currently leading most key battleground states which could ultimately determine its outcome.
Trump also highlighted a contrast between Biden’s and former President Trump’s recent public appearances in Pennsylvania. While Joe Biden drew zero crowds during his visit to the state two weeks ago, Eric claimed that when his father visited Harlem bodegas or construction sites in New York City earlier this month he attracted massive crowds as well as union workers.
“So with all the power of Air Force One and with all the power of the executive branch,” Trump said. “Biden can’t have anybody show up. My father’s drawing these massive crowds, is fundraising the likes of which no one has ever seen before for the presidency.”
