Graham Predicts Benefits for Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Trump in Potential Treaty before November Elections

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) predicted that a potential treaty between Saudi Arabia and Israel could have positive outcomes for both nations as well as benefit former President Donald Trump. During an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union, Graham expressed his hope that such a deal could be finalized before November’s elections in order to save lives. The senator recently returned from a visit to Saudi Arabia where he facilitated discussions between Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and Trump via phone call. Graham acknowledged Republican support for any potential treaty put forward by President Joe Biden, despite having endorsed Donald Trump as the presidential candidate in 2024’s elections. This ‘historic’ deal would see Saudi Arabia recognizing Israel following a defense agreement between Riyadh and Washington DC which permits the US to enrich around seven percent of its uranium for nuclear fuel use; a development that, if approved, would greatly bolster Israeli security within the region whilst potentially ending the Arab-Israeli conflict. Graham’s remarks come at an opportune time when Saudi Arabia and Israel find themselves currently involved in a six-month confrontation against Hamas who are based out of Gaza; this situation has proven difficult for Israel to rally support from neighboring countries regarding its efforts towards eliminating terrorism threats.
