Houston Texans WR Tank Dell Sustains Minor Injury from Club Shooting: Statement from Team

The Houston Texans’ wide receiver, Tank Dell, sustained what the team referred to as “a minor wound” in a shooting incident at a Florida club last night. According to media reports, there was an altercation that did not involve him when a gunman reportedly fired multiple shots and caught Dell with a stray bullet. The 16-year-old suspect responsible for the shootout was arrested shortly after midnight on Saturday. Ten people were injured in total, all suffering non-life-threatening injuries during this incident. However, Houston Texans released an official statement which disclosed that their wide receiver Tank Dell is in good health now as he has received medical attention and subsequently got released from the hospital earlier today (Sunday morning). Notably, it should be remembered that Tank Dell’s standout rookie campaign was cut short due to a broken fibula injury in 2023.
