Male Teacher Fired from Tennessee Community College over Explicit OnlyFans Account: Disruption in Learning Experience Leads to Termination and Loss of Equipment

For most cases, teachers being caught with side gigs on OnlyFans primarily happen at the high school level. However, a faculty member from Pellissippi State Community College in Tennessee was recently fired due to his explicit content on the platform. Unlike previous incidents involving university chancellors or female educators, this time around, it’s a male teacher who lost his job over an OnlyFans account.
Parents alerted local news station WVLT (10News) after finding that some of their children had seen naked images of the faculty member shared on social media platforms X and OnlyFans. The channel obtained screenshots from both sites, which showed subscribers referred to as “students” by this teacher’s username.
Upon making a connection between these sources, 10News contacted Pellissippi State Community College for personnel files of the accused faculty member three weeks ago. They received a link to his termination letter dated April 1 from President L. Anthony Wise Jr., which stated that “the learning experience in the classroom has been disrupted” and as such, he was immediately relieved of teaching duties with other instructors assigned to complete the semester instead. The faculty member also had to return all college-issued equipment and keys to the Dean without any statement or promotion opportunity from him.
It’s best for both parties that they cut ties since this case could discourage others who might be contemplating following in his footsteps, as it may lead to a shortage of teachers willing to work at community colleges.
