Nicole Kidman’s Daughters Support Marriage as Keith Urban Receives Gift for ACM Awards

Keith Urban has revealed the secret to his long-lasting marriage with actress Nicole Kidman and how Kidman gifted him a guitar that he will be using at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards. During an event, where Kidman was being honored at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award gala, their daughters made their first public appearance on the red carpet with them. The “Big Little Lies” star wore a gold sequin gown and her blond hair down in classic Hollywood glam style while Sunday Rose, aged 15, opted for a strapless white dress, adorned with flowers. Her younger sister Faith also joined her, dressed elegantly in a coral-coloured strapless gown.
Kidman spoke to People about having her daughters by her side at the event and initially joked that they would have preferred to pursue their own careers instead of supporting hers. However, she added that both girls were incredibly loving and supportive towards her. The Oscar winner also mentioned that her daughters had been looking forward to attending the after-party activities following the gala.
During her acceptance speech, Kidman gave heartfelt thanks not just for everyone present but also acknowledged Urban as well as their two children – “the loves of my life.” She further revealed in an interview with People ahead of the event that she was delighted to have her family from Australia at the ceremony including sister Antonia and husband Craig Marran, who brought along Sybella.
Kidman’s friends in the movie industry came out for their pal’s celebration too as Naomi Watts, Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, and Morgan Freeman attended the gala to cheer on Kidman at her accomplishment being one of entertainment history’s prestigious honorings. Moreover, Antonia was also present during the event alongside Craig Marran.
Kidman acknowledged in the interview that Hamish – Nephew – was unable to join as well but instead opted for a live stream version of proceedings; unfortunately, her late father Anthony couldn’t attend either. Nevertheless, Kidman still believed he was there and expressed gratitude towards him during her speech at the event.

Urban further shared that Kidman’s gift was a customized Martin guitar, which he had been admiring since its creation. The “Wasted Time” singer also revealed how the acoustic-electric guitar was unique from any other piece as it incorporated features she knows he liked on past models that existed already but they did not feature on his previous instruments.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kidman said Keith was doing pretty great to deal successfully well following several emotional turmoil during their relationship’s formative stages. “We were together 15 years ago and then we broke up for a couple of years,” she explained in the same report while highlighting that they both experienced significant heartbreak at different times.
