Deadly Oversize Load Accident Closes Highway near Temple, Texas

Two individuals lost their lives and a third suffered critical injuries after an enormous load weighing 350,00 pounds detached from its transport trailer in Temple, Texas over the weekend. The incident occurred on Saturday when emergency responders were summoned to State Highway 36, which lies west of Highway 317 approximately thirty miles south of Waco. According to reports by Temple Fire & Rescue, three individuals were inside a vehicle at the time it was pinned beneath the fallen load. The authorities pronounced two people dead and transported another individual with life-threatening injuries to an emergency room via air ambulance. Crews worked for over four hours to extract the driver from the car.
