Tyson’s Discipline and Jones’ Warning Ahead of Fight against YouTube Star Paul

Renowned boxer Mike Tyson has been putting in extra effort for his upcoming fight against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul at age 58. In a recent interview on “The Damon Elliott Show,” the former heavyweight champion revealed that he hasn’t smoked or had sex in over two weeks, but it wasn’t clear when exactly this conversation took place as Forbes Life provided another time frame regarding his abstinence from both marijuana and intimacy. Tyson explained to the outlet that he has been living a disciplined life for six weeks now without indulging in either activity since childhood. The boxer clarified to USA Today via their reporter who mentioned in an earlier report last March when his ear-shaped marijuana edibles were sold at New York dispensaries, and said he is giving up cannabis due to fight rules that ban the substance by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as they oversee this event. Tyson’s former opponent Roy Jones Jr., who was also the last person he fought against, warned Paul about the shape Mike currently finds himself in stating, “The first time [Mike] hit me on my chest, it felt like a mule kicked me” and predicted that Paul won’t be able to withstand Tyson’s hits since those accustomed to lesser impact would probably suffer when struck by him. Jones further added that while bigger fighters such as Evander Holyfield or Lennox Lewis can handle these punches, Jake might find it tougher due to the force of Mike’s blows potentially knocking Paul out cold if he lands a solid hit on his chin.
