In a tragic incident that took place early Sunday morning near Country Club Road and Speedway Boulevard in Tucson, Arizona, a 20-year-old University of Arizona student named Erin Jones was killed as part of a quadruple shooting. Three other individuals, including a teenager, also suffered injuries during the gun violence that ensued at around 1:40 am on April 28th. While details are limited in this case, Tucson Police have revealed that there had been a large gathering taking place inside the residence prior to the incident and several witnesses fled before law enforcement arrived. Erin Jones was found outside of the house where the shooting occurred and rushed to hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival. Another victim was located inside an adjacent car, surviving serious injuries and now expected to recover in time. The two remaining victims, a teenage girl and man, were treated for their wounds at the same medical facility following their own transportation via private vehicle; both are said to be making satisfactory progress towards recovery.
