The University of Tampa community is in shock following the discovery of an abandoned and deceased infant on campus by police officers last weekend. According to authorities, they came across the body while investigating a matter near freshman dormitory McKay Hall, situated at 401 W Kennedy Boulevard, around midnight on Sunday. The circumstances surrounding the baby’s death are currently under investigation by Tampa Police Department (TPD), who have stated that there is no threat to public safety in relation to this incident.
