In contrast to the chilly morning atmosphere in New York City, warmer temperatures are set to arrive soon! As reported by FOX 5 NY’s meteorologist Mike Woods, while milder climates aren’t on immediate schedule for today and tomorrow, expect delightful heatwaves as early as Sunday. The National Weather Service has predicted Monday’s high temperature of around 78 degrees Fahrenheit; however, according to Wood’s forecast via Twitter, the mercury could potentially rise into the mid-eighties by then! Today will be sunny with a maximum thermometer reading close to sixty-five degrees. The sky will remain mostly clear tonight as temperatures plunge slightly towards forty-four degrees Fahrenheit around midnight. Tomorrow is expected to be mainly bright and warm, hitting an optimal high of fifty-seven degrees Fahrenheit under largely sunlit skies before transitioning into cloudier weather by nightfall on Saturday where a 30 percent likelihood for scattered rainshowers could prevail towards three o’clock in the morning. The sky will remain mostly overcast with occasional showers until around nine o’clock tomorrow evening, after which it should clear up and settle at sixty-nine degrees Fahrenheit during the night. Following a partially cloudy midnight scene where low temperatures may approach fifty-nine degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday night, partly sunny skies are expected to prevail throughout Monday with highs ranging from seventy-five to eighty degrees Fahrenheit!
