Fatal Crash Closes Northbound Lanes of Interstate 35W Near Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas – In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a tragic accident took place on northbound Interstate 35W near Highway 121 in Fort Worth that claimed one life and left another person with non-life-threatening injuries. According to authorities, around 1:45 am, the driver lost control of their vehicle while traveling along I-35W and collided with a concrete barrier before plunging off the overpass. The passenger in the car unfortunately perished as a result of the impact, however the driver managed to survive but is now under medical observation for minor injuries sustained during the crash. Police are currently investigating what led up to this incident; all northbound lanes on I-35W at Highway 121 and eastbound lanes along Highway 121 were temporarily closed following the accident, causing significant disruption in traffic flow until authorities cleared the scene.
