Harrison Jerseys Delayed: NFLPA Licensing Agreement Required

PHOENIX – Fans hoping to purchase Marvin Harrison Jr.’s jersey will have to wait as the Arizona Cardinals’ new wide receiver has not signed a preliminary NFL Players Association licensing agreement. The draft pick, chosen fourth overall in Thursday night’s 2024 NFL Draft from Ohio State University, won’t see his name or likeness commercialized before officially signing with the league because of this delay, according to ESPN reports. This immediately impacted jersey sales as online retailer Fanatics informed Cardinals fans that until Harrison signs a licensing contract with the NFLPA, merchandise will not be available for purchase. In his final season at Ohio State University, Harrison caught 67 passes for 1211 yards and scored fourteen touchdowns. He is set to join quarterback Kyler Murray’s top targets after praising him as an excellent teammate whose high school career speaks for itself with consistent success on the field.
