High-Speed Chase Leads to Multiple Arrests in Plano

“PLANO, Texas – A high-speed pursuit started in Mesquite came to an end in Plano after several individuals were apprehended by authorities. The chase commenced on Wednesday morning following a report from the police department about suspects causing damage to a white Hyundai parked at Bubba’s 33, situated along Interstate 635 close to Highway 80. Mesquite law enforcement officials identified and tried to apprehend the car driven by the alleged culprit who took off without heed once confronted. The fleeing vehicle headed west on I-30 before moving northward onto U.S. 75, passing through Dallas, Plano, and finally Murphy until it came to a halt at Park Boulevard near Los Rios Boulevard. All five occupants of the Chrysler were taken into custody by law enforcement officials following their apprehension in the vehicle. The suspects included Jonathan Pacheco, 17, from Balch Springs and four juveniles who have not been identified due to age restrictions. They all face charges for criminal mischief while the driver, one of the minors involved, was additionally charged with evading arrest.”
