Stagecoach Snub Leaves Morgan Wallen’s Fans Furious over Livestream Exclusion

Morgan Wallen’s performance at the Stagecoach festival was not included in their livestream on Sunday, leaving fans frustrated with Amazon Music. Despite headlining the event just weeks after his arrest in Nashville, Wallen’s name did not appear on the list of performers being streamed online. Fans took to social media to express their disappointment and confusion about why he was excluded from the live broadcast. “I can’t wrap my head around @Stagecoach @PrimeVideo removing Morgan Wallen from their live stream?! He’s a headline act, one of most people want to see,” wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter). Another person posted: “#stagecooch2024 is leaving @MorganWallen off the live stream? The biggest headliner of @Stagecoach Festival but not on your stream? What a well thought out decision that was.” Some users suggested it could have been Wallen’s choice to exclude his set from being livestreamed. One individual posted: “We do not want to see Diplo we want to see Morgan Wallen. If Coachella can live-stream all of their headliners then so can y’all boooo.” However, others speculated that it could have been a decision made by Stagecoach or Amazon Music itself. One user wrote: “At 10:53 p.m. Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities,” said Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson. During his set at Stagecoach on Sunday night, Wallen performed alongside Post Malone, who he collaborated with on the song “I Had Some Help.” This was Wallen’s first performance since being arrested in Nashville following an incident where it is alleged that he threw a chair off of the sixth floor of Eric Church-backed bar Chief’s. The singer has been cooperating fully with authorities, and his court date for April 7th was scheduled to take place on May 3rd. Wallen’s recent outburst regarding throwing a chair did not relate in any way to an announcement made by his ex-girlfriend that she had gotten married suddenly after getting engaged just days beforehand. Smith and Scornavacco surprised fans with their elopement, which they announced on April 3rd via social media shortly following the news of their engagement on March 29th. Wallen shares a son named Indigo with his former partner.
