17-Year-Old Suspect Fleees After Hitting Injured Officer on Staten Island Freeway

On Thursday morning, an NYPD officer sustained injuries in a vehicular accident that occurred on the West Shore Expressway in Staten Island. According to authorities, the officer was seated in a stationary police car when a sedan hit him. The perpetrator subsequently fled the scene while carrying a Florida license plate. The suspect is reportedly a 17-year-old male with a fair complexion, dressed in a white shirt and gray sweatpants. The officer was transported to the hospital with stable conditions.
