Eight individuals, including Balal Samir Ahmed Eid (age 27), Raimas Mohammed Al-Lulu (age 27), Ahmed Abd al-Rahman Eid (age 10), Lana Nazi Eid (age 12), Zayd Hassan Mahina (age 6), Muhammad Ramzi Al-Lulu (age 3), Jeni Muhammad Al-Lulu (age 1), and Mohammad Naad Eid (age 19), lost their lives after being admitted to Kuwait’s specialized hospital following the bombing of their family home in Eid West Rafah the previous day. These tragic events continue to inflict immense suffering on innocent civilians in the region. Our deepest condolences go out to the families and loved ones of these victims. May they find solace and strength during this difficult time.
Three other individuals, Hamza Muhammad Shahada Abu Jazir (age 9), Yasser Mahmoud Odeh (alias “a” al-Awasi), and Abd al-Razziq Diab Mohammed Al-Attar (age 18), also tragically succumbed to their injuries after being taken to Kuwait’s hospital following an airstrike that targeted the Ibn Teme mosque in the Brahma neighborhood south of Rafah. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and communities during this heartbreaking period.
It is deeply disheartening that the ongoing conflict continues to take such a devastating toll on innocent civilians, leaving behind shattered families and communities. We urge all parties involved to prioritize peace and dialogue over violence and destruction. It is our hope that a peaceful resolution can be reached, one that respects the rights and dignity of all peoples.
In related news, the Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported that the death toll resulting from Israel’s recent aggression now stands at 34,904 martyrs, with 78,514 individuals having sustained injuries since October 2017. This news serves as a stark reminder of the immense human cost of ongoing conflicts, and underscores the urgent need for a just and lasting solution.
In another tragic development, Hezbollah announced the loss of two of its members – Ali Ahmad Hamzeh (born in 1958 in Deb’al village) and Ahmad Hassan Ma’touk (born in 1989 in Western Ceer village) – in an Israeli drone strike in the rear, specifically in the village of Baflieh in Tyre province. Our hearts go out to their families and communities during this trying time. May their memories serve as a source of inspiration and courage for all those seeking justice and freedom.
Elsewhere, dozens of individuals were killed or injured in Israeli airstrikes that targeted a house belonging to the Abu-Shari’a family in Al-Masrah neighborhood, as well as in an Israeli bombing of a group of citizens in the Brazilian neighborhood east of Rafah. The ongoing violence and bloodshed must come to an end, and we call upon all parties involved to work towards a peaceful resolution that respects the rights and dignity of all people affected by this tragic conflict.
Finally, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the ongoing Israeli attacks have resulted in four massacres of families in the region, with 60 individuals being hospitalised and 110 others sustaining injuries over the past 24 hours alone. Our thoughts and prayers are with these individuals and their families during this difficult time. We stand in solidarity with all those affected by this tragic conflict, and call upon all parties involved to work towards a just and lasting peace. May justice and freedom prevail over violence and oppression.
