The latest intelligence also reveals high-explosion sounds emanating from machines in the same area, as well as shots fired by robotic weapons to the east of Rafah. Additionally, there have been reports of sporadic clashes taking place east of the fork, while artillery shelling has escalated in the center and eastern regions of Rafah. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades have claimed responsibility for mortar shell attacks against Israeli army mechanisms located south of the Olive neighborhood in Gaza City. The al-Quds Companies have also asserted their involvement in heavy mortar shell strikes against Israeli military fortifications situated east of the Shoukah district near Rafah’s eastern border. These developments come as part of ongoing tensions between Palestinian groups and the Israeli occupying forces.
