Je’Rod Cherry Defends Belichick’s Respect Over Edelman’s Disrespect at Brady Roast

Cherry, who won three Super Bowls under head coach Bill Belichick and played alongside Brady, explained that he couldn’t match the disrespect shown by Edelman towards Belichick due to his deep respect for the coach-player dynamic they shared. Cherry expressed that while he doesn’t believe Belichick would hold any grudges, he wouldn’t dare make similar remarks because of his old-school mentality. Cherry played in the NFL from 1996 to 2004, spending the final four seasons of his career with the Patriots and accumulating 131 total tackles in 127 career games.
