Legoland Windsor Introduces World’s First Duelling Coaster as Tragedy Occurs

At Legoland Windsor Resort in Berkshire, England, a groundbreaking attraction called Minifigure Speedway has been introduced. It is the world’s first LEGO duelling coaster, allowing riders to reach speeds of up to 56 km/h while traversing a dynamic dual-track. This announcement comes following the tragic death of a five-month-old infant who suffered a cardiac arrest at the resort. Thames Valley Police reported that the baby was seriously injured and subsequently passed away at a nearby hospital on Monday. A 27-year-old woman from Witham, Essex, was apprehended by authorities on suspicion of neglecting a child to cause undue harm, but she has since been released on bail. In response to the incident, Investigating Officer Detective Constable Zoe Eele expressed her condolences to the bereaved family, stating, “We are presently investigating a disturbing occurrence involving a very young child at Legoland Windsor that occurred earlier this week. Initially, our thoughts are with the family of the deceased boy who perished due to cardiac arrest at the hospital. We are providing the best possible support to the family during this trying period.” FOX Televisions Stations has requested comment from the parent organization of Legoland.
