Biden Faces Intense Criticism for Promises Broken and Allies Abandoned

Following President Biden’s social media post claiming he keeps his promises and leaves no one behind, criticism ensued from numerous individuals citing numerous instances where Biden has broken promises and abandoned both Americans and allies. Some of the prominent critiques included Speaker Mike Johnson’s statement about leaving American hostages in Gaza and abandoned allies in Afghanistan, Larry O’Connor’s accusations of Biden’s utter incompetence, and The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin’s tone-deaf remark regarding American hostages in Gaza. Additionally, Republican lawmakers, including Rep. Brian Mast, Rep. Byron Donalds, and Rep. Mike Lawler, criticized Biden’s statements, with Mast highlighting the Gold Star families, Gershkovich, and Afghan interpreters who disagreed, while Lawler stated that Biden’s remarks were out of touch, particularly for middle-class families struggling to make ends meet. Furthermore, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ press secretary Jeremy Redfern echoed similar sentiments, stating that Biden’s claims were misleading when applied to Americans trapped or held hostage in various locations such as Afghanistan, Gaza, or Haiti. Other critics, including the Heritage Foundation’s Harrison Fields and former Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler, highlighted Biden’s dismal record-breaking performances in terms of inflation, gas prices, illegal immigration, global unrest, crime, divisions, governmental weaponization, interest rates, and other issues. Finally, Daily Wire commentator Virginia Kruta remarked that it would be faster to compile a list of who hasn’t been left behind during Biden’s tenure, given the alarming number of people who have fallen victim to his decisions.
