During an appearance on “Fox & Friends First,” political strategist Scherie Murray criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s “Extraordinary Gentlemen” dinners, which aim to address economic opportunities for Black men in business, politics, and culture. Murray accused Harris of “pandering” to the Black community, as polls show a decline in Biden’s support among African-American voters. According to recent polls, former President Donald Trump is gaining ground with Black voters, with 23% supporting him in March and approximately 30% of Black men in swing states backing his candidacy. Biden’s support among Black voters has decreased significantly since the 2020 election, falling from 92% to just 63%. Jamiel Shaw, whose son was murdered by an undocumented immigrant, spoke about the frustration felt by many Black men, who feel left behind by the Biden administration’s focus on immigration reform. At a San Francisco fundraiser, Biden continued to raise funds, with some attendees paying up to $250,000 for access.
