Shilo Sanders, a defensive back for the Colorado Buffaloes, is set to make his acting debut on Friday night as a younger version of his famous father, NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, in the final episode of the third season of the popular crime drama BMF, produced by Starz. Inspirited by the true story of two infamous brothers from Detroit, Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who founded one of the most significant criminal organizations in American history, BMF follows their experiences. As revealed by Starz’s publicity director Joseph Williams, Deion and Big Meech were once acquaintances as Deion played for the Atlanta Falcons while Big Meech frequently visited Deion’s club, “Prime Time 21”. Sharing a picture of his son on social media, Deion expressed pride in Shilo’s acting skills, stating that “Good Lawd the SANDERS boys are exercising all the gifts that GOD gave them and having fun living this life that we only get 1 shot at. Live kids Live.” This isn’t Shilo’s initial dip into acting – his father, Deion, has previously appeared on various TV shows, including Moesha, Walker, Texas Ranger, and The League, and even hosted Saturday Night Live, while the couple also featured in the 2008 reality series Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love and the 2014 documentary series Deion’s Family Playbook. However, this performance adds to the already impressive resume of Shilo and his brother Shedeur, who have profited from their father’s reputation and sporting prowess to emerge as two of the wealthiest and most sought-after student-athletes in college sports today. In January, the duo walked the runway for the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection during Paris Fashion Week, and Shedeur recently released his debut rap song, “Perfect Timing”. According to a projection by On3, Shedeur ranks No. 1 with an estimated college NIL worth of $4.6 million, followed by Shilo at No. 18 with $1.1 million. Deion spoke favorably of his children’s financial management abilities in an interview with USA TODAY last year, stating, “Shedeur has made a lot of money, man, in college, and they’re good stewards.”
