20-Year-Old Fatally Shot in Queens; Suspects Flee Scene

A young man in his twenties met a tragic end after being fatally shot in Queens early Monday morning. The incident occurred on Rockaway Boulevard and 117th Street, located in the neighborhood of South Ozone Park around 1:05 am. Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly thereafter to transport the victim to Jamaica Hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries sustained from gunshot wounds inflicted on his head, torso and legs. The police department has reported that two male suspects fled following the incident, however, the reason behind this brutal crime remains unknown at present time as investigations continue.
