Study Reveals Southern Drawl as Most Alluring Accent in US; Texans Rank Fourth

A recent study conducted by PennStakes.com has revealed that the most alluring accent in the United States is undoubtedly the Southern drawl. The research was carried out between February 2023 to February 2024, analyzing social media posts and identifying how frequently specific keywords such as attractive, sexy or charming were used alongside particular accents. To no surprise, the Southern dialect emerged victorious in this study; however, Texans should not get too excited since their accent did not occupy pole position but only reached number four following closely behind California and New York accents on the list of top accents for appeal. Remarkably, Texas featured an impressive ten schools that made it to the national rankings with one even making its way into the coveted top 10.
