Chandler Dog Attack: Crystal Brown’s Plea for Awareness after Severe Bite Injuries

A woman is still recuperating after a brutal dog attack in Chandler that left her bleeding and traumatized. When police arrived on the scene, they found the victim with multiple wounds caused by vicious dogs, but the owner of the animals was nowhere to be seen. Crystal Brown emphasizes that what matters most now is spreading awareness about this incident so it doesn’t happen again to anyone else. She recalls being attacked outside her office near Alma School and Ray roads while loading her car on April 26th. The dogs, which she describes as pitbulls or mixes of the breed, rushed straight at Brown without warning. One dog pushed her down, causing severe pain that left her shaking with fear even after the attack was over. Another dog bit into both her arms and ankles while she screamed for help. Fortunately, one woman eventually came to grab the dogs’ leashes but failed to offer any assistance to Brown as she lay bleeding on the ground. The victim sustained seven puncture wounds in total from which it still takes immense pain to walk without support. While thankful that her therapy dog Ellie was safe inside the car during the attack, Brown remains disappointed by the lack of accountability displayed by the dogs’ owner after such a harrowing ordeal. She insists that the severity of these bites indicates previous incidents and hopes that whoever is responsible for this takes responsibility before someone else suffers in similar circumstances.
