Strong Winds Send Bounce House Flying, Claim Life of 2-Year-Old Near Casa Grande

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. – In a tragic accident that occurred on April 27 near Cox and McCartney roads outside of Casa Grande, strong winds blew away a bounce house, resulting in the death of a two-year-old child. Several children were playing inside the inflatable structure when the wind suddenly picked it up and sent it flying into an adjacent lot. The second youngest among them was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the medical facility. Another youngster who also sustained non-life-threatening wounds during the incident received treatment as well. Sheriff’s officials have stated that this appears to be a terrible accident and expressed their condolences towards the grieving family.
