Filmmaker and artist Sam Taylor-Johnson has shared that her relationship with husband Aaron, who is younger than her, once received intense scrutiny but the fascination has died down since they first got together over 14 years ago. The couple met on the set of “Nowhere Boy” in which Aaron portrayed a young John Lennon and Sam directed it when he was just 19 and she was 42. Taylor-Johnson admitted that outside interest in their relationship, due to the age gap between them, initially piqued curiosity but they couldn’t understand why people were so fascinated by it as “mostly when I’m doing press” this topic resurfaces again. The couple married in 2012 and have two daughters: Wylda Rae and Romy Hero. Sam was previously married to art dealer Jay Jopling from 1997-2008 with whom she shares two children. When asked about Aaron’s potential new role as James Bond, Taylor-Johnson responded that while there is constant speculation until anything becomes a reality, “if it happens, it will be great.”
