Keith Urban has revealed the secret to his long-lasting marriage with actress Nicole Kidman, while also sharing how she gifted him a guitar that he will be using at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards. Meanwhile, Kidman’s AFI Life Achievement Award celebration was missing some family members as her daughters were present but adopted children from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise did not attend the event due to their involvement in Scientology. While she has previously spoken about protecting relationships with them and being tolerant of their decisions to follow the religion, it is unclear why they didn’t make an appearance at this particular celebration. Kidman mentioned some actors that she had worked alongside during her speech but did not explicitly refer to Cruise except in discussing working together on film sets where friendships are made sometimes resulting in marriage or falling in love with each other. Connor Cruise appeared alongside his father and Urban at the Country Music Association Awards back in 2015, where they presented Kidman’s husband with Entertainer of the Year award that year.
