This list, commonly referred to as the entity list, has been utilized by the Commerce Department to limit the transfer of technology to China, due to concerns about Beijing’s potential utilization of these advancements to strengthen its military capabilities. As a result of being placed on this list, American suppliers will face increased difficulties when attempting to provide goods to these targeted entities.
