Some of these lies included exaggerating the number of jobs he created as president and claiming that Donald Trump had lost more jobs than he created, which the Post called a “corollary lie.” Biden also allegedly lied about inflation rates, claiming they were 9% when he took office, when in reality, they were only 1.4%. Additionally, Biden suggested that world leaders were warning him that democracy was at stake if he lost the election, which the Post dismissed as “give us a break.” Overall, the Post accused Biden of spinning a fantasyland version of his presidency that voters knew was false.
